Zachary Twedt
I am a small town Iowa farm kid that made my way over to Iowa City to play football for the University of Iowa. A lot of people ask why I didn't go to Iowa State University to pursue an agriculture degree. Quite frankly it would be a waste of time because I already know everything that I need to know in order to carry on the family farm! Therefore, I decided to pursue a business degree to someday become an entrepreneur in some selected field. Growing up in a small town, I have been recognized as the "hometown hero" for my athletic success and my independent contractor work around the county. I take pride in my expedited maturing from being raised on a farm; there are just some life standards / values that are instilled in you at such a young age that have made me the man I am today. In my opinion, farmers are one of, if not the biggest entrepreneurs on this planet. A very underestimated minority in society that is constantly overlooked yet continues to provide regardless of the circumstances. Keep in mind that wisdom comes with experience... Not age.
