I'm a senior at the University of Iowa majoring in Health Informatics. I am learning, researching, and networking regarding different aspects of the health care industry. As a Health Informatics major, the way technology can help save lives and prevent negative health issues interests and inspires me to work hard on improving my craft. I am motivated to use my degree to help people through my knowledge and hard work. I have taken a plethora of different health classes and courses related to programming. I am looking for full-time jobs within my field.

As a student computer aide I have trained a total of 4 employees on how to do our job efficiently and productively, which has helped me further myself professionally and academically. I deliver computers and other technology equipment to the University of Iowa Hospital. I am required to maintain records on technology equipment from the entire hospital, this has helped me become more detail-oriented and pay pay attention to small details that can often be overlooked by others. This job has taught me the importance of communication and working with other people to ensure that tasks are done well.
